We are looking for a DBA Oracle and SQL, for the Porto area.
Ref. of Candidacy- 06/2022
Functions:
- Administer and provide technical support in Oracle/SQL database;
- Perform architecture review, support proposals and technical documentation;
- Provide support and evolutionary maintenance in Database platforms, aiming at performance improvement and stability;
- Support high availability environments, monitoring and reporting;
- Support 2nd and 3rd line Oracle database;
- Monitor the resources of the Systems that support the databases, and provide reports on performance and space usage;
- Support the SQL syntax optimisation developed by the application development teams, including the identification of inefficiencies and their improvement management;
- Verify the execution of database backups.
Profile:
- +3 years of experience in Oracle database administration;
- Knowledge of Exadata and Linux operating systems would be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
